August Report – 2025

A Heart That Gives

Acts 20:35 – “In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.”

A kind teacher saw a little girl who lacked proper clothes and food. She welcomed her home, gave her good clothes, fed her, and treated her like her own daughter. The girl was deeply touched—it was the first time she felt truly loved. She felt the power of love that can deeply transform, and she decided to take this love to so many other girls like her who have never felt the touch of love. This became a turning point in her life. Later, she grew up and began spreading the love of Christ to others, just as she had received.

Having a heart that gives is more than sharing what we have—it’s sharing ourselves. When we help, encourage, or serve others, we show God’s love and feel joy in blessing them. Even small acts can make a big difference, and God multiplies what we give in ways we may not see.

This week, look for ways to give from your heart. It’s not about how much you have, but the love you share. Take one small step today—help someone, encourage them, or say a kind word.

“A heart that gives blesses others and brings joy to ourselves.

Question for Reflection:

What is one small step you can take today, with a giving heart, to bless someone?

Prayer: Lord, please give me a heart that gives freely, like You have given to me. Help me bless others with joy and love, trusting that even small acts can make a difference. Amen

Conscientia

On 30th August 2025, the team conducted a seminar on Oral Hygiene, which was open to all, with 13 participants attending. The session was led by Dr. Sruthi and covered topics such as daily oral care practices, common dental problems, and myths like ‘Baby teeth don’t need care.’ Through practical tips and an interactive Q&A, participants learned the importance of prevention and how to incorporate healthy oral habits into their daily routines.

SMALL GROUPS

General Groups

In August, the group Chosen Ones conducted a seminar on Oral Hygiene, led by Dr. Sruthi. The session was attended by 13 participants and provided practical insights on maintaining good oral health. Due to personal and professional commitments, the group was unable to participate in other fellowship activities during the month. Please pray that they will soon be able to gather together in fellowship once again.

Chosen Ones

This month, the Truth Seekers group discussed the importance of releasing pressure and unrealistic expectations in relationships—whether with family, friends, or others. The session emphasized that true change comes from within, through prayer and God’s love, rather than through external pressure or nagging. The discussion highlighted that unrealistic expectations can create frustration and weaken relationships, while people thrive when given space and acceptance to be themselves. Members were encouraged to shift their approach from trying to control or change others to trusting God, praying for them, and surrendering them into His care.

Truth Seeker

We are grateful to everyone who continues to remember this group in prayer. This month, they met online for fellowship, where they shared personal updates and encouraged one another to keep improving and growing. The meeting included a focused time of prayer for individual needs and families. One member is currently preparing for final medical exams, while others are facing career-related challenges and making significant life decisions. They sincerely value these opportunities to learn together, support one another, and strengthen their relationships within the group.

PRAYER NEEDS and THANKSGIVING

Prayer Needs

We pray for our faithful sponsored students, for their health, growth, and success of each child, and for the smooth and effective running of the program, that it may bring hope and lasting change.

We pray for the small group members’ spiritual growth, mutual support, guidance in group activities, and consistency, and that despite busy schedules, they would be able to connect regularly for fellowship and be a shining light within the fellowship.

We pray that as the PBYP group begins, the members will begin to apply the lessons in their daily lives, make wise and godly decisions, grow in character and spiritual maturity, build strong friendships within the group, and use what they learn to bless and guide others.

We pray for funding of monthly expenses, the well-being and strength of the team, fruitful connections and partnerships, guidance in every decision, and that our work makes a lasting difference in the communities we serve.

Thanksgiving

We praise God for His goodness and provision throughout this month. By His grace, we successfully completed the Marriage Preparation Seminar, and He faithfully provided for the financial needs. We are encouraged by how the seminar blessed the participants and rejoiced in God’s continued care and provision at every step of our journey.
