Small Group Gathering Report

Small Group Gathering was conducted on 25th November 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A total of 16 members attended, while a few were unable to join due to unavoidable work and personal commitments. Those who could not attend expressed their willingness to participate in upcoming gatherings.

The purpose of this gathering was to build deeper fellowship, identify stumbling blocks that affect our spiritual growth, and learn how to depend on God and support one another in our Christian journey. The session aimed to encourage openness, learning, and accountability within the group.

The gathering began with a time of worship led by the group. Everyone participated with joy and sincerity, preparing their hearts for the activities and discussions that followed.

Participants were encouraged to meet someone they did not know well and discuss four simple questions. This fun and interactive activity helped members connect, interact, and grow more comfortable with one another. Afterwards, each group introduced themselves to the larger gathering.

Small Group Status Update

During the gathering, one representative from each group came forward and briefly shared about their group’s journey and fellowship activities:

The group members are trying their best to stay connected and grow spiritually, but due to work schedules, they are not able to meet regularly for fellowship. However, they are still committed and participating whenever possible.

This group gathers online regularly and is growing in their relationship with God through virtual fellowship and discussions.

This group is active and growing. Although the members are now located in different states, they make efforts to stay in touch. They meet at least once for prayer and sharing, even if not everyone can join every time. Group members continue to share prayer points and stay connected.

This is a newly formed group and is in the early stages of building fellowship. They are growing gradually and strengthening their group bond.

Also a recently formed group, they are growing well and hoping to build themselves spiritually as they continue meeting and supporting each other.

Later, engaging activities using balloons and cups were conducted to illustrate an important spiritual lesson. Through these activities, participants realized that when they try to balance different areas of life—such as studies, relationships, work, and family—on their own, it becomes overwhelming. Similar to the balloon challenge, life becomes more difficult when we try to handle everything without any support. The key lesson highlighted was that we need to depend on God’s strength and guidance to overcome stumbling blocks and remain steady in every area of life.

Practical Christian Living – Understanding Stumbling Blocks

Members were divided into two groups for an in-depth discussion on practical questions related to Christian living. The speaker encouraged participants to reflect on how their daily choices—such as watching movies, using foul language, engaging in romantic relationships, or other personal habits—can impact their spiritual growth and witness to others. During the discussion, members shared personal experiences and reflections on the challenges they face in maintaining a Christ-centered life.

The speaker emphasized that certain actions and behaviors can become stumbling blocks, influencing our decisions, habits, and overall Christian walk. He reminded everyone that each believer should live responsibly, ensuring they do not cause another believer—especially a new believer—to stumble or become discouraged in their faith. The discussion also referred to 1 Corinthians 10:32, highlighting the principle of being considerate of others in our actions.

Living intentionally, guided by God’s Word, helps us grow spiritually while supporting and protecting the faith of those around us.

Each group spent meaningful time praying for one another, especially for personal struggles, weaknesses, and life challenges. Members prayed for God’s strength, wisdom, and transformation in areas where they felt stuck or burdened.

Participants shared that the gathering was practical, insightful, and spiritually helpful. Many expressed that they gained clarity regarding their own stumbling blocks and felt encouraged to grow stronger in Christ. The discussions also helped members understand biblical perspectives on everyday life issues.

The gathering concluded with a group photo, followed by a fellowship dinner. This provided an opportunity for members to relax, deepen relationships, and enjoy time together.
