On October 12, 2024, the PBYP Gathering took place at Stewards of Nations Training Hall. Initially planned to facilitate discussions and activities, the gathering was adapted to focus on evaluating the PBYP Workbook due to low participant attendance.
The workbook is intended to be completed over a span of 4 to 5 months and aims to provide support for various family-related topics. Throughout the evaluation, it became clear that while the workbook offers valuable insights and resources, the diverse age groups of participants presented challenges in engaging everyone effectively.
Despite these challenges, feedback from participants was overwhelmingly positive. Many highlighted the workbook’s relevance to their daily lives and its practicality in addressing family issues. Participants noted that, although some activities were difficult to navigate due to age differences, they found the workbook’s structure beneficial overall.
This evaluation not only affirmed the workbook’s value but also provided crucial insights for improving future gatherings. Moving forward, these groups plan to tailor activities to better accommodate the varied age groups, ensuring a more inclusive and effective experience for all participants. The feedback collected will be instrumental in guiding adjustments to both the workbook and the format of future gatherings, enhancing the mission to support families effectively.
